Today we explored Dales Gorge from one end to the other. We walked from the van and climbed down a steep pathway over rocks to get to the floor of the gorge. Finally saw a snake. I was beginning to think WA had no snakes!
I didn't take a camera today as I was too keen on swimming. These photos are off the net.
The Circular Pool was so pretty. No one was swimming as it was cold but Geoff and Ai couldn't resist it was so lovely so had a very refreshing swim. We sat around in the sun afterwards to warm up.
Then it was a leisurely walk along the length of the gorge. The views changed at each bend. There were several pools along the length and the walls of the gorge were constantly changing. It was just gorgeous.
Finally we reached Fortescue Falls and had another swim before climbing back out and returning to the van.
Suddenly we decided to not stay the night even though we had already paid the princely sum of $12 for the night. We were having trouble with the fridge again and decided to quickly pack up and drive to Newman where there was power.
