Kalgoorlie

We had planned to stay at the dam here for a few days as so many people had raved about it. But to be honest we were rather underwhelmed and the sign saying there could be amoebic meningitis in the water didn't make us want to take the boat out. The dam was very small and there were quite a few people there. The toilet had no seat or toilet paper and was totally splattered.  So the decision was made to move onto Kalgoorlie. On our way we visited the ghost town at Kookynie and had a quick look at Menzies on the way through Decided to treat ourselves tonight so we paid an extra $5 a night for a site with an ensuite in the caravan park! Geoff finally checked his emails when we got there.
